Summary of experience over the past 30 years...
1. Worked as an illustrator doing combat art in Vietnam/Stateside for the Marine Corps.
2. Owned and operated Pine Hollow Art Studio. Provided illustration services along with graphic design, screen printing and outdoor advertising.
3. Skilled in outdoor illustrating and mural work as well as hand brush quill lettering, airbrush for advertising and vehicle graphics.
4. Have illustrated: Book covers, paperback books, childrens books, science and medical books and articles along with other various textbooks.
5. Have worked as a staff illustrator for a publishing company and after two years was promoted to illustration supervisor. I was responsible for the artwork of 9 illustrators in coordinating the art requests for the company''''s publications.
6. I am skilled in 3D sculpted promotional pieces and have worked in paper mache, fibreglass, foam and clay. Have also made molds and cast promotional pieces.
7. Have done portrait painting and won various fine art awards for painting and sculpture including a Best of Show in Canada and the US.
8. Am a member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators.
